Indigenous Financial Aid Coordinator

Donna Noah

Kuwiinguneewalohmwa, my name is Donna and I am Lunaapeew (Lunaape), bear clan from Munsee Delaware Nation and Eelūnaapèewii Lahkèewiit Delaware Nation and I am the Indigenous Financial Aid Coordinator but I also facilitate the Indigenous Circles of Support and Leadership Program (ICSLP) through the Indigenous Student Transition Program (IST) at ISC. I am also an alumni of Western and graduated in 2018 with an Honors Specialization in Indigenous Studies. Prior to attending Western, I attended the Anishinabek Educational Institute (A.E.I) where I obtained a Native Community Worker (Traditional Aboriginal Healing Methods) Diploma. Outside of my work with ISC, I am a bead artist/crafter, love spending time with my family and travelling to powwows and cultural gatherings across Ontario and within the local Indigenous community. Being a previous student, I know how important ISC can be to Indigenous students journey and time here at Western as it became my community and a big part of my life during my undergrad and I hope to welcome current and incoming Indigenous students to our growing community and I hope to be a support during their journey here at Western.
