My name is Marisa and I identify as a Haudenosaunee woman from the Oneida Nations of the Thames. I also carry both Ojibway and Mi’kmaq ancestry. I recently completed my Bachelor of Social Work at King’s University College and have the role of the Indigenous Community Enhancement Coordinator. In this role, I am available to support our Indigenous undergrads, graduate student leaders, and youth by providing personal, academic, and cultural supports! My vision for this role is to continue creating a safe, inclusive environment to ensure when individuals enter ISC that they feel a sense of community and belonging. In my free time, I enjoy writing, watching TV shows and spending time with my family. I am the proud auntie to twin boys and enjoy spending as much time with them as I can!
