My name is Marisa, and I identify as a Haudenosaunee woman from the Oneida Nation of the Thames, with Mi’kmaq ancestry. I hold a Bachelor of Social Work from King’s University College and a Police Foundations diploma from Fanshawe College. As the Community Enhancement Coordinator, I am here to support Indigenous undergraduates, graduate student leaders, and prospective students by offering personal, academic, and cultural support. My role is primarily focused on youth engagement. I am committed to fostering a safe, inclusive environment where everyone entering the Indigenous Student Centre (ISC) feels a sense of community and belonging. In my spare time, I enjoy watching TV shows and spending time with my family.
