Indigenous Services will be hosting our 5th Annual Indigenous Student Graduation Celebration. We will be celebrating on Friday April 7th 2017 from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. in the International and graduate studies building atrium at Western University. If you will graduate Spring 2017- Fall 2017, please register online. Registered graduates are invited to participate in the Graduation Celebration with friends and family. Graduates please register yourself and guests by Friday March 24th, 2017.

Congratulations for making the decision (or consideration) to explore an educational journey with Western University. At Indigenous Services, we are committed to supporting undergraduate and graduate Indigenous students in reaching their highest potential through encouragement, culturally-responsive programming, and advice from the application process right through to graduation and beyond.
We hope that you will visit our centre often and join us in our many community initiatives and programs throughout the year. You are not alone in your dreams to attain formal education. Western has a large and growing Indigenous student, staff and faculty population, studying and working in diverse fields, and a making a difference in our communities.
Please come by our centre and introduce yourself. We are happy to help you with any questions or concerns you may have along the way.

Indigenous Services Staff
Indigenous Services' offers a welcoming and inclusive Learning Resource Centre space for Indigenous students and community on-campus.
New and returning Indigenous students to Western including Kings, Brescia and Huron are encouraged to complete the brief online User Agreement to access the Learning Resource Centre
Indigenous Students include First Nations, Metis, Inuit, Status, Non-Status and Self Identifying
By completing the short online agreement students will gain access to our LRC, including after hour's access, 500 copies of free printing, and Visiting Elder and Tutor Support at no cost.
Stendents who wish to join our community are invited to attend our many social cultural events throughout the school year, and participate in workshops and our monthly corn soup lunches.
Summer Student access expires on Sep. 7th, 2016. New and returning students must register for Fall 2016 / 2017 school year to have continued access.
