Tutor Support

During the Fall/Winter terms, tutors are available all week long during their drop in hours in the Indigenous Student Centre, and by appointment. For a list of tutor office hours, visit the ISC Events Calendar throughout the Fall/Winter term.

ISC Tutors specialize in different subject areas and are a great resource for students. Stop by Room 2100 in the WSSB to meet a tutor during their scheduled hours, even if you do not have specific questions. Tutors can sit with you to provide general tips and information or can work with you to explain complex subjects that you may be struggling with.

Tutors are friendly, helpful and want to help you improve and succeed as a student!

Richard Nahhas

My name is Richard and I am a second year graduate student in the Chemistry Department at Western University. I have been tutoring math and science for the last five years and enjoy helping people appreciate the mathematics and concepts behind subjects like chemistry, allowing them to appreciate the wonder of the natural world. When I am not in the lab working on my research, I enjoy exercising my mind and my body in other ways, be it at the gym, in the park or at home with a good book. I am always happy to talk about chemistry, course material or otherwise, and would be happy to meet in person!

Bushra Hussain

She has many years of experience in one-on-one tutoring of Physics, Statistics, Chemistry and Mathematics. She has taught students from various educational and ethnic backgrounds.
