Aboriginal Student Self-Identification Survey

Indigenous Services (IS) launched the Aboriginal Student Self Identification Survey that allows students to self-identify as Aboriginal online through IS is responsible for overseeing the internal and confidential data collection, storage and reporting processes. 

The goal of this survey is to more effectively reflect and respond to Indigenous student needs and fulfill Western’s Indigenous Strategic Plan.

Your participation in this process will help increase the Indigenous student presence on-campus and support positive changes moving forward. The development of the questions are consistent with the common Aboriginal self-identification guideline report published by Council of Ontario Universities (COU, Report, 2014).
