Student Programs
The Indigenous Student Centre (ISC) offers many support programs for Indigenous Students to thrive personally and academically while at Western and beyond.
IS staff and Visiting Elders look forward to meeting you! Visit us on the second floor of Western Student Services Building, Room 2100.
- Financial concerns? Meet with our Financial Aid Advisor to discuss your options.
- Our Student Nutrition Program ensures there is always food available when you stop by.
- Need a place to stay late, study, and do some printing? Register for after hours access at IS.
Self-Identify as an Indigenous Student
All Indigenous Students at Western are encouraged to complete the Aboriginal Student Self-ID Survey as one of the first steps to accessing programs and services. Completing the survey is not mandatory but extremely valuable for us in building a complete picture of the students we support.
**The term Indigenous refers to Aboriginal people that is consistent with Section 35.2 of the Canadian Constitution Act 1982.
